Practical limits that work

• Set a budget you can afford to lose before the week starts, and never top it up.
• Use a flat stake (for example 1% of your bankroll per pick) instead of raising stakes after a loss.
• Never chase losses; a high confidence score does not make the next pick safe.
• Keep parlays short: every extra leg multiplies the risk.
• Use your sportsbook's deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools, and your phone's screen-time limits.
• Do not bet when you are upset, under the influence or need the money for bills.

Warning signs of problem gambling

• Betting more than you planned, or more often, to feel the same excitement.
• Chasing losses or borrowing money to bet.
• Hiding betting from family or friends, or lying about how much you spend.
• Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back.
• Betting affecting work, studies, sleep or relationships.

How IABET approaches responsible use

Every pick shows a probability and a confidence score so the risk is visible; IABET never markets picks as "locks" or guarantees. The free plan needs no credit card, and paid plans can be cancelled at any time from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The public record will show losses as well as wins (see the methodology page).
